ABOUT • I have been "pushing pixels" since 1983. I started with the original Adobe Photoshop back in the day. I found it to be faster, easier and less messy than paint and that whatever style I had developed from the acrylic/oil paintings that I had done previously, had carried very nicely into the digital realm. In the digital medium, my experimentation could expand exponentially! Probably because there is no "undo" key in the real world!
Between my work as a commercial designer and illustrator I am periodically moved to "paint" personalities as inspiration strikes me. I have painted personality portraits as a hobby, for years. People tell me that I excel at capturing the spirit, power and likeness of my portrait subjects. I hope you enjoy my gallery of work. Perhaps one of yours will soon be included! |
